Job Description

Overview

The Shipping & Receiving role at Micro Precision involves assisting with customer orders, managing shipping and receiving tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory. The position requires strong organizational skills and a focus on customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist customers with business matters and update orders with tracking information
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
  • Package equipment appropriately for transit
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Assist with customer claims processes
  • Track and manage inventory of customer assets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area and equipment
  • Perform lifting, pulling, and pushing of loads up to 50 lbs
  • Participate in special projects as assigned

Required skills
