Overview

SMARTCARDIA INC is seeking a Shipping and Customer Service Clerk to manage the lifecycle of cardiac monitoring devices. This role involves shipping devices to patients and clinics while providing customer support to ensure a positive service experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and process device orders for patients, clinics, and hospital partners
  • Label, pack, and prepare cardiac monitoring devices for outbound shipment
  • Document products shipped and received, including device serial/lot tracking
  • Arrange for incoming shipments and maintain organized storage space
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and providers via phone and email
  • Answer questions about shipments, returns, tracking, and device handling
  • Resolve order discrepancies and shipping issues professionally
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and HIPAA requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up on issues

Required skills

  • Experience as a Shipping Clerk or Customer Service Representative
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and HIPAA
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
