Overview

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for their 1st shift in Portland, Tennessee. The role involves operating forklift trucks, receiving and processing materials, and ensuring accuracy in shipments while maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate forklift trucks
  • Compare material to packing slips and purchase orders
  • Report material discrepancies to supervisor
  • Receive material into QAD system
  • Deliver received material to appropriate shop location
  • Prepare materials for shipping according to sales orders and routing sheets
  • Process necessary shipping documentation and forms
  • Maintain equipment in clean and orderly condition
  • Report faulty operation or defective material to supervisor

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Forklift Certification
  • 1-2 years related experience or training
  • Basic computer skills
  • Problem solving or troubleshooting skills
