Overview

Amazon is seeking Shipping Clerks to join their operations team in Niagara Falls, New York. The role requires strong communication and coordination skills to support various shipping processes and ensure operational efficiency within fulfillment centers. The position offers a launch bonus for eligible candidates and emphasizes safety and team motivation.

Key responsibilities

  • Correspond with multiple shipping companies and their contacts
  • Use multiple shipping company's software to ship and track packages
  • Coordinate trailers to corresponding dock doors and cross docks
  • Ensure proper processes are followed with the Trailer Dock Release program
  • Communicate instructions to other associates and motivate team members

Required skills

  • High School or equivalent diploma
  • 1+ year of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for 10-12 hours
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ year of leadership experience or experience in a similar environment
