Overview

SSP Canada is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Tim Hortons located at Victoria International Airport. This role involves supporting the management team to ensure high standards of service, coaching team members, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Management Team in consistently achieving service standards
  • Maintain brand operational standards and ensure completion of restaurant checklists and cleaning schedules
  • Coach team members during the induction process and ensure adherence to brand standards
  • Communicate job duties, priorities, and expectations to team members
  • Monitor team member performance and document accordingly
  • Assist in developing team member skills for improved performance
  • Ensure product quality and oversee cash handling duties
  • Complete temperature logs accurately and on time

Required skills

  • 12 months experience in a busy restaurant or hotel environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions clearly
  • Experience in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Supervisory experience
  • Cash handling experience
