Overview

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Shift Leader for its Des Plaines location. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced and friendly environment while leading a team to provide excellent customer service and manage product quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks efficiently
  • Ensure all security and procedural standards are met
  • Count cash drawers and follow cash handling procedures
  • Prepare quality food products such as sandwiches and salads
  • Comply with health and safety standards
  • Restock food line and maintain cleanliness
  • Handle customer complaints and issues
  • Train and ensure food safety certification for team members
