Job Description

Overview

Quad is seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Sheetfed Press Assistant to join their team in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. This role involves assisting Press Operators in various production tasks, ensuring quality outputs, and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist First and Second Press Operators in operating printing presses
  • Prepare machine components for production according to specifications
  • Monitor and adjust machine operations as necessary during production
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Conduct quality checks of products throughout the production process
  • Clean and clear the production line after each order completion

Required skills

  • Mechanical skills and aptitude for troubleshooting production equipment
  • Experience in printing technology and press operation
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
