Overview

Quad is seeking a motivated Sheetfed Press Assistant to join their team in Franklin, WI. This role involves assisting press operators with the operation and maintenance of pressing equipment to ensure efficient production flow while maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist First and Second Press Operators in running the Press
  • Perform cleaning and set-up duties for the press operation
  • Load and stage paper for production
  • Manage press output and area maintenance
  • Conduct routine adjustments on the sheeting machine
  • Complete quality checks during production to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment

Required skills

  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude for troubleshooting
  • Experience in press operation and machine maintenance
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
