Job Description

Overview

As a Set Up Operator at U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC in Holyoke, Massachusetts, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of press equipment to assemble chain and ensure efficient and quality production processes. Your role will involve maintaining high standards of assembly efficiency and quality, troubleshooting issues, and training other operators.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate a range of automatic and semi-automatic presses for assembly processes
  • Measure quality parameters of assembled chain and take corrective actions as needed
  • Retrieve and replace components to ensure continuous operation of equipment
  • Assist, train, and develop other operators
  • Select proper tooling, equipment, and materials for each job
  • Follow engineering drawings and production schedules to complete assigned tasks
  • Maintain equipment and ensure efficiency in the assembly process
