Job Description

Overview

As a Set Up Operator for the 2nd shift at U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various presses involved in assembling chains and other components, ensuring high standards of efficiency and quality. This role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to train and assist other operators.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate a range of automatic and semi-automatic chain assembly equipment
  • Maintain efficiency and quality in assembly processes
  • Measure quality parameters of assembled chains and determine corrective actions
  • Assist, train, and develop operators
  • Retrieve and replace components to ensure continuous operation
  • Follow procedures for quality and operations specified by the company

Required skills

  • Mechanical ability
  • Press operation and setup experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Prior experience with automatic, mechanical, and hydraulic press equipment
  • Tooling background
