Overview

Grady Management Inc. is seeking a Service Trainee for their Bradford Mews Apartments in Smithfield, Virginia. This role offers an opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills in apartment maintenance, focusing on ensuring the upkeep of community grounds and managing maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure community grounds are clean, safe, and free of debris
  • Proactively fix and repair items reported by residents
  • Participate in maintenance projects and after-hours emergency work
  • Troubleshoot appliances and technical issues
  • Perform daily inspections
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 18+ months of experience in apartment maintenance
  • EPA 608 Type II or Universal Certification
  • Heat pump experience
  • Bilingual communication (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to use a computer
