Overview

Red Dirt Septic is seeking a Service Technician for septic system maintenance and repair in Edmond, Oklahoma. This role offers steady work with a trusted, family-oriented company, providing the opportunity for training and growth while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct bi-annual maintenance on aerobic systems, including inspections, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and fix aerobic and conventional septic systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Maintain company vehicle tools and supplies in top condition.
  • Drive to residential and commercial sites using the provided company vehicle.
  • Access wastewater tanks, involving hand digging or operating specialized equipment.
  • Log detailed and accurate notes on work orders.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training or septic system certification (preferred)
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors
  • Confident communication skills for dealing with customers
  • Experience using a voltmeter for electrical diagnostics
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
