Overview

AmeriGas is seeking customer-focused Service Technicians to join their team in Fairbanks, Alaska. This role involves safely operating vehicles to install and repair propane tanks for both residential and commercial customers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a propane service vehicle along provided service routes
  • Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers
  • Install new propane tanks and systems for customers
  • Deliver bulk or canister propane as needed
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
  • Use required Personal Protective Equipment consistently
  • Work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on needs

Required skills

  • Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test, and background check
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
