Overview

AmeriGas is seeking a Service Technician to join their team in Fairbanks, Alaska. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe installation and repair of propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a propane service vehicle along designated routes
  • Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for customers
  • Install new propane tanks and systems for customers
  • Deliver bulk or canister propane as needed
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and policies
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment while working

Required skills

  • Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test, and background check
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
