Overview

AmeriGas is seeking a Service Technician in Fort Bragg, California, to join its team. The role involves installing and repairing propane tanks while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. This position is vital for servicing residential and commercial customers and comes with numerous benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a propane service vehicle along provided service routes
  • Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for customers
  • Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers
  • Occasionally perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane
  • Adhere to all federal and state codes and regulations as well as company policies
  • Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment

Required skills

  • Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
