Job Description

Overview

Red Dirt Septic is looking for a Service Technician to maintain and repair septic systems for residential and commercial customers in the Oklahoma City Metro area. This position offers a stable career with growth potential, as well as training provided for certifications and advancement.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct bi-annual maintenance on aerobic systems, including inspections, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and fix issues with aerobic and conventional septic systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Maintain company vehicle tools and supplies in top condition.
  • Drive to residential and commercial sites using the provided company vehicle.
  • Access wastewater tanks, potentially involving hand digging or operating specialized equipment.
  • Log detailed, accurate notes on work orders.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training or septic system certification is a bonus
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics using a voltmeter
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical details
