Overview

Rudd Equipment Company is seeking motivated Service Technicians of various skill levels to diagnose and perform repairs on heavy equipment. This role involves working in both shop and field environments while ensuring safety compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in required safety program and maintain a safe work environment
  • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment
  • Determine repair solutions based on education and experience
  • Source and order parts as needed
  • Repair mobile equipment in the field without supervision
  • Perform welding and fabrication of parts and equipment
  • Repair and replace components of hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service
  • Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Comply with all DOT requirements and travel as needed

Required skills

  • General knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems
