Overview

The Service Technician at Robert Dietrick Co., Inc. is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of loading dock equipment, industrial doors, and specialty lifts. This role involves traveling to customer sites and requires a blend of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain loading dock equipment and industrial doors
  • Facilitate installation of new or refurbished machinery
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment
  • Use various hand and power tools for equipment assembly and adjustments
  • Test equipment to ensure it performs to specifications
  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment as needed
  • Address customer requests and concerns regarding products and services
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
