Overview

The Service Technician at Robert Dietrick Co., Inc. is responsible for installing and servicing loading dock equipment, overhead doors, and specialty lifts at customer sites. This role offers an opportunity for individuals to grow in a field services environment with hands-on training provided for all job requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Install and service loading dock equipment and overhead doors
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment
  • Perform tests to ensure equipment operates to specifications
  • Modify and adjust equipment for proper operation
  • Answer customer requests and concerns about products and services
  • Plan and facilitate installation and repair of machinery
  • Disassemble or dismantle equipment as needed
