Job Description

Overview

AmeriGas is seeking a Service Technician in Naples, Florida, to join their team. This role is crucial for installing and repairing propane tanks for both commercial and residential customers, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a propane service vehicle along provided service routes
  • Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers
  • Install new propane tanks and systems for customers
  • Perform delivery representative functions as needed, including delivering bulk or canister propane
  • Adhere to all federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety Policies
  • Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Work 8 to 12-hour shifts based on fluctuating needs

Required skills

  • Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
