Job Description

Overview

AmeriGas is seeking energetic and customer service-oriented Service Technicians to join their team in Fremont, Michigan. As part of the largest propane distributor in the United States, you will be responsible for installing and repairing propane tanks while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a propane service vehicle along provided routes
  • Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for customers
  • Install new propane tanks and systems for residential and commercial customers
  • Deliver bulk or canister propane as needed
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety policies
  • Use required Personal Protective Equipment consistently
  • Work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on needs

Required skills

  • Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70lbs
