Job Description

Overview

As a Service Technician at AmeriGas, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and effective propane installation and repair services for both residential and commercial customers. This position requires you to ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering excellent customer service in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a propane service vehicle
  • Perform repairs on existing propane tanks
  • Install new propane tanks and systems
  • Conduct delivery of propane as needed
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
  • Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment

Required skills

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Completion of DOT physical, drug test, and background check
