Overview

Total Air is looking for a full-time HVAC Service Technician to join their team in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The role involves maintaining and repairing HVAC systems in light commercial and residential settings, with a strong emphasis on career growth and development within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect and perform maintenance on existing HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Respond to emergency service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with team members to improve overall system performance
  • Create accurate records of all work performed
  • Provide excellent customer service

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Residential HVAC Technician
  • Universally certified in refrigerant handling
  • EPA Type II certification required
  • Knowledge of residential and light-commercial HVAC
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
