Overview

Progressive Roofing is seeking a Service Superintendent for their Yuma team, based in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will provide leadership to foremen, oversee service field work, and ensure high-quality service and safety in roofing installations.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise foremen to lead safe and efficient roof system installations
  • Oversee field staff and assist with crew leadership
  • Conduct daily job site visits and safety audits
  • Resolve complaints and assist with discipline when necessary
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and track labor hours
  • Schedule materials and monitor quality of installations
  • Ensure crews have necessary information for job completion
  • Submit reports and coordinate communication between office and job sites
  • Investigate incidents and participate in final inspections

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of experience in a commercial roofing environment
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation methods
  • OSHA 30-Hour Card
  • Understanding of building codes including Uniform Building Code
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Experience in estimating materials and replacement costs
  • Ability to write routine reports and computations
