Overview

The Service Manager at Tiger Fuel Company is responsible for leading the plant service team, managing employee development, and overseeing operational performance including sales and customer satisfaction. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead all plant service team activities and manage people development
  • Oversee office operations including bookkeeping and payroll preparation
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Team for proper billing of services
  • Encourage and motivate employees to meet performance standards
  • Establish a system to track service activity related to contracts and projects
  • Manage workflow and scheduling for customer satisfaction
  • Oversee service, repair, and reconditioning of equipment
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new Service Technicians
  • Evaluate and measure team member performance
  • Train employees on company procedures and regulations
  • Demonstrate and promote safety leadership within the team
  • Assist with monthly safety meetings

Required skills

  • Leadership experience in a similar industry (preferred in propane)
  • Ability to analyze data and performance metrics
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Adaptable to diverse backgrounds
  • Experience in the petroleum or propane industry preferred
