Overview

The Service Manager at Tiger Fuel Company will lead all activities of the plant service team, focusing on people development and overall performance across sales, operations, profit, and growth. The role includes managing employee workloads, overseeing office operations, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage employee workloads to maximize productivity
  • Oversee office operations and procedures including bookkeeping and payroll
  • Collaborate with accounting for accurate service billing
  • Encourage and motivate employees to meet performance standards
  • Maintain a system to track service activity related to contracts and projects
  • Manage workflow and scheduling for customer satisfaction
  • Oversee repair and reconditioning of equipment
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new Service Technicians
  • Evaluate and measure team performance
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulations
  • Demonstrate safety leadership and ensure team safety training
  • Coach safety and security procedures and assist with safety meetings

Required skills

  • At least four years of leadership experience in a similar industry
  • Ability to analyze data and performance metrics
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Superior relationship building skills
  • Experience in the petroleum or propane industry is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies
