Job Description

Overview

SSP is seeking a Server for their Spinnakers restaurant located in the secure environment of Victoria International Airport. In this role, you will engage with guests while serving a variety of hand-crafted beverages and food items in a fast-paced setting, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to health standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Input orders into the register and create checks for guests
  • Receive cash, verify charges, and record payments accurately
  • Maintain proper setup of the bar and ensure stock is adequate
  • Prepare fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and other perishables
  • Adhere to all liquor regulations regarding service
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health standards
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Minimum one year serving experience
  • Serving It Right certificate
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Basic mathematical skills for cash handling
