Overview

Groupe Pro Accès is seeking a serrurier to join their dynamic team in Lévis, Quebec. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing various locking mechanisms and hardware, both on-site and in the workshop, while providing excellent customer service and support.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair locks, handles, and door hardware
  • Sell and provide advice on various products to customers
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions
  • Work in the workshop to create key systems and perform lock adjustments
  • Collaborate on inventory management to ensure necessary supplies are available
  • Respond to service calls and complete required tasks
  • Accurately fill out installation tracking sheets
  • Handle payments received

Required skills

  • DEP in locksmithing or equivalent diploma
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in locksmithing
  • Permit from the Bureau de la sécurité privée or commitment to obtain it
  • Advanced French, both spoken and written
  • Intermediate English for communication with English-speaking clients
  • Customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and professionalism
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness
