This position may be located in Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program.What you will get to do:The Sentinel E3 Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the E3 specific technical tasking as defined in the program Statement of Work (SOW) or as assigned by the Director of Specialty Engineering. Areas of responsibility include EMI, EMC, ESD, Spectrum Management and TEMPEST.The E3 Manager will have responsibility for the quality and technical execution of a team of 30-40 engineers. This role works closely with program leadership, technical leaders, business management, the engineering homeroom and directly with the customer. This position requires experience in systems engineering technical work, and experience with leading technical teams over a broad range of tasks including design, implementation, test, verification, reporting and scheduling. The successful candidate must have the ability to lead teams in a fluid environment, encouraging teamwork with our Customer, NGC teams and suppliers to meet program objectives. A high degree of skill in critical decision making is imperative to perform in this environment. A working knowledge of ground-based deterrence systems is desirable.The E3 Manager responsibilities include:• Managing the day-to-day program execution of the E3 Specialty Engineering Team.• Providing EVM responsibilities (CAM for multiple Work Packages) as delegated by the Director of Specialty Engineering.• Communicate effectively and report status and progress metrics to support Program Management reviews and customer engagements.• Provide senior management guidance on program execution for E3 sub-teams to include EMI Test Support, E3 Design Support, and TEMPEST, to include both testing and design support.• Develop and support consistent execution of standard and best practices, methods, software and tools across E3 team and sub-teams. Must utilize feedback and lessons learned to further develop these practices and methods and foster a community of continuous improvement.• Manage and forecast engineering resources in collaboration with the Specialty Director, technical leaders, and functional homeroom.
