Temperature Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Sensor Element Fabricator to join its specialized winding room team. This hands-on role involves the precise fabrication of wire-wound ceramic elements used in RTD temperature sensors, critical for industrial and laboratory applications. Comprehensive in-house training is provided, making this an ideal opportunity for those interested in starting a career in precision manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a specialized wire winding machine to wind platinum wire onto ceramic tubes
  • Cut ceramic tubes to specified lengths using diamond wheel cutting equipment
  • Perform high-temperature glassing process using an industrial furnace
  • Complete small-part assembly operations, including attaching palladium wire connections
  • Use hand tools to handle and prepare miniature components
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders; inspect finished elements for quality
  • Document production output and log completed work orders
  • Collaborate with the winding room team to meet production targets
  • Support training of new team members
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of winding room equipment
