Overview

The Senior Vice President, Transaction Management Group Manager at BNY will lead a sizable team of Transaction Management professionals, overseeing the negotiation, review, analysis, and execution of deal documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal standards. This hybrid role is pivotal to enhancing operational efficiency and mitigating risks in a dynamic financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a large team of Transaction or Deal Management professionals.
  • Negotiate, review, analyze, and execute deal documents in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee legal and operational risk mitigation in deal transaction documentation.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to staff while being a subject matter expert.
  • Plan for required resources and manage talent acquisition and retention.
  • Implement operating and administrative protocols for Transaction Management activities.
  • Direct resolution of operational and transactional issues based on subject-matter expertise.
  • Lead negotiations ensuring alignment with client and business objectives.
  • Liaise with internal and external business contacts for compliance and legal matters.
  • Manage multiple team goals and objectives across various products and jurisdictions.
