Job Description

Overview

The Senior Vice President of Treasury Management at Geronimo Hospitality Group will lead the development of a modern global treasury function focused on liquidity, capital optimization, and financial risk management. This role requires a hands-on leader to enhance cash visibility and operational leverage in support of the CFO and other departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for performance and results of operations within the treasury function.
  • Lead daily global cash positioning and liquidity management.
  • Improve accuracy and cycle time of cash forecasting using real estate and hospitality operating systems.
  • Optimize cash usage and minimize interest expenses within risk appetite and liquidity requirements.
  • Manage global banking and merchant processing relationships to reduce complexity and fees.
  • Design and implement a Treasury Management System (TMS) integrated with ERP.
  • Re-architect global bank account structures for automation and scalability.
  • Drive cash-to-book automation and reconciliation in partnership with AP, AR, and Accounting.
  • Ensure secure execution of payments and enforce strong treasury policies and fraud prevention controls.
  • Assess interest rate, FX, and counterparty risk management.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 12+ years in Corporate Treasury or Finance
  • 5+ years in a leadership role in treasury operations or capital structures
  • Deep understanding of real estate financial markets and liquidity modeling
  • Familiarity with internal audit processes and accounting treatment of debt and financing leases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • U.S. Work Authorization
