Overview

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President for its Wealth Management team in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on advising High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients on estate and gift tax planning, income tax planning, and family governance while collaborating with a team to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Advise clients on estate & gift tax planning, income tax planning, and philanthropy
  • Work with complex clients to implement estate plans and mitigate tax risk
  • Prospect new clients and support existing clients with wealth planning needs
  • Collaborate with fiduciaries on complex trust structuring and planning
  • Engage in thought leadership and industry conferences related to wealth planning
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members as needed

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree, J.D. law, accounting, tax degree, or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in estate and tax planning
  • At least 6 years of experience in private legal practice or wealth management
  • Excellent communication skills
