Overview

Intuit is looking for dedicated Tax Experts - Retail On-Site for seasonal roles at TurboTax locations across the United States. The role involves engaging with customers, providing tax expertise, and fostering community relationships to enhance the client base. Tax Experts will help clients navigate tax situations while supporting Intuit's mission of empowering financial prosperity.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador and represent TurboTax locally
  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to optimize deductions and minimize tax liabilities
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism
  • Interact with clients both in-person and through virtual communication tools
  • Build trust and long-lasting relationships with clients

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing 50+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and Circular 230
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and business ownership approach
