Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join as Senior Tax Experts - Retail On-Site in Los Angeles, California, for the seasonal demand of TurboTax services. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, helping customers manage their tax needs while building lasting relationships in the local area. As a Tax Expert, you will provide comprehensive tax services both in-person and virtually, supporting clients in achieving financial goals through effective tax planning and preparation.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax as a community ambassador and engage with potential clients.
  • Lead local events and participate in marketing to simplify tax topics for the community.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for a range of tax situations.
  • Facilitate tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and active support.
  • Interact with clients using both in-person and advanced video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Experience with tax preparation software and customer relationship management tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
