Overview

Raytheon is looking for a Senior Systems Security Engineer specializing in Anti-Tamper and Program Protection. This role is critical in developing security solutions for embedded weapons systems to maintain a technological advantage for the Warfighter. Successful candidates will engage directly with customers and collaborate within a team to implement comprehensive security measures.

Key responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to define Systems Security Engineering (SSE) requirements and solutions
  • Support compliance with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
  • Assist program management with SSE architecture and issues
  • Contribute to the development of bids and proposals
  • Implement security controls for networking devices, databases, and software components
  • Integrate cybersecurity development activities

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM
  • 5 years of relevant experience in System Security Engineering or cybersecurity
  • Active and transferable Secret security clearance
  • Experience in anti-tamper and embedded security
  • DoD Top Secret clearance preferred
  • Experience in design and fielding of SSE systems
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or GSLC
  • Knowledge of DODI-S-5230.28
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration experience
