Overview

Boeing is seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Manager to lead the System Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) Team at their Berkeley, Missouri location. The role involves driving the development and delivery of capabilities for the Air Proprietary Program while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing Systems Engineering team for the Air Proprietary program.
  • Plan, organize and direct activities for system engineering processes.
  • Ensure the technical integrity of engineering and test work scope.
  • Interface with government customer counterparts and executive leaders.
  • Develop and promote a team culture of transparency and collaboration.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager
  • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience
  • Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
  • Knowledge of system engineering best practices and integration processes
  • Familiarity with certification and configuration management practices
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Ability to build relationships with senior leaders
