Description: JOB PURPOSEThe Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for focusing on the challenges of integrating complex systems. The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for working across engineering domains and with product management to support new product development and integration. This position requires the application of Systems Engineering principles to support the requirements providing analysis, integration, development, and verification of new and existing products.JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARYWorking with internal customers, other integrators, and development of CONOPS for the use of products in the field.Defining/documenting baseline requirements which may include analysis of customer/systems requirements; CONOPS development; establishing and documenting derived and decomposed requirements for different subsystems and disciplines (EE, ME, Software).Enable fast prototyping of new features by owning design, modeling, and implementation.Preparation of engineering integration documentation (Test Plans/Descriptions/Procedures)define effective feature integration and verification plans.Working with development team in establishing systems design including use cases/user stories, preliminary and detailed design, system architecture, and internal and external interfacesCollaborating with developers; providing feedback and insight to development teams on requirements and testabilityWorking across functions and team boundaries in developing, documenting, and executing test plans and procedures for all phases of testing from integration to full system integration testing; defining verification and validation methodsLead the Risk Management for the product.Participating in and preparation of materials for technical reviews and various other technical exchange meetingsRecommending and developing new, innovative, and efficient process improvements to current testing processes and methodologies including use of automated testing approachesCollaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables including transitioning from development to production within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures. Requirements: Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, advanced degree is a plus.10+ years' experience within engineering domain (8 + with advanced degree).5+ years' experience systems integration.Knowledge of compliance testing is a plus.Experience with requirement specifications, verification, developing/executing test cases.Strong multidiscipline troubleshooting skills to identify root cause of issues.Demonstrated technical writing skills.Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment.Strong oral and written communications skills.Additional InformationLocation: This role is based in Burlington, MA. We are seeking local candidates, as relocation assistance is not available.Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
