Overview

Senior Superintendent Commercial Location: Ohio-based (Columbus or Northern Ohio preferred) and Travelers Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 + Performance Bonus Relocation Assistance Available Summary The Senior Superintendent acts as the primary leader in the field, ensuring construction projects are executed safely, within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Partnering closely with the Project Manager, you will drive daily and short-range project direction and maintain total customer satisfaction. Requirements & Qualifications Experience as a Senior Superintendent in multi-family housing, commercial, and/or K12 construction. Must provide a commercial project list. 4-year degree OR equivalent combination of education and construction experience. 10-Hour OSHA Construction Certification. CPR and First Aid Certification. Key Responsibilities Preconstruction: Assist with scheduling, phasing, constructability reviews, and subcontractor procurement. Site Leadership: Direct day-to-day field operations, manage subcontractors, enforce safety policies, and maintain jobsite security. Project Controls: Implement the project schedule, manage costs, and oversee the quality control program (including punch lists). Administration: Lead OAC and Foreman meetings, maintain accurate as-built drawings, process permits/inspections, and manage daily reporting. Team Development: Train and mentor Field Engineers and Assistant Superintendents. Business Development: Assist with RFQ/RFP responses, project interviews, and identifying future opportunities.
