Overview

KARM Stores is seeking a Senior Store Manager for stores within the Knox Metro Area. This leadership role involves overseeing store operations, developing high-performing teams, and creating a Christ-centered environment for staff, donors, and customers. The role is aimed at strong leaders proficient in balancing people development, operational excellence, and customer experience in a dynamic retail setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the store, including retail and processing functions
  • Create and maintain a Christ-centered environment for staff, donors, and customers
  • Lead, coach, and equip team members to support strong store performance
  • Oversee donation flow, sorting, pricing, store appearance, and customer experience
  • Manage daily and administrative functions including scheduling and labor tracking
  • Train, develop, and support assistant managers and team members
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions
  • Ensure new team members receive proper onboarding and training
  • Attend required trainings and meetings
  • Communicate operational concerns and personnel matters to leadership
  • Identify and resolve issues related to customers and store operations
  • Review staffing and scheduling needs for high-volume periods
