Overview

The Senior Staff Accountant at QuesTec Mechanical in Columbia, MO, plays a vital role in the company's success by assisting the Director of Accounting with various accounting tasks. Key responsibilities

  • Provide payroll support to the Payroll Administrator
  • Assist with tax preparation and audit support
  • Handle accounts payable tasks and high-level transactions
  • Manage the company's real estate financials
  • Support bank account reconciliations and monthly GL closings
  • Maintain depreciation schedules for fixed assets and vehicles
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports
  • Assist with quarterly estimated taxes and W2 preparations
  • Perform general data entry related to accounting functions
  • Troubleshoot accounts receivable, accounts payable, and job costing issues

Required skills
