L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist in Systems Engineering with a focus on statistical analysis in Jupiter, Florida. This role involves applying statistical methods to various product lines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, and ensuring delivery commitments are met while maintaining first-time quality of outputs.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote statistical thinking by offering leadership and solutions to cross-functional teams
  • Utilize statistical data analysis, predictive modeling, and simulation tools for decision-making
  • Provide sampling recommendations and conduct analyses for engineering product development
  • Support reliability and risk assessment activities
  • Document work in reports and presentations for diverse audiences
  • Identify and lead Six Sigma initiatives across various sites
  • Develop statistical quality control methods for operations
  • Contribute to discipline growth by improving procedures and best practices

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years of experience or Graduate Degree with minimum 4 years of experience
  • Experience with statistical software packages such as Minitab, SAS, R, Python
  • Technical writing skills
  • Familiarity with machine learning and Bayesian methods
  • ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. security clearance
