The position is integral to supporting customer missions in defense technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply statistical methods to product lines and collaborate with engineers and managers
  • Promote statistical thinking by providing leadership and solutions
  • Utilize statistical data analysis, predictive modeling, and simulation tools
  • Provide sampling recommendations and develop experimental designs
  • Offer statistical expertise for reliability assessments and business decisions
  • Document work in reports and present results to diverse audiences
  • Lead Six Sigma initiatives across various sites
  • Support development of statistical quality control methods

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience or Graduate Degree with minimum 4 years
  • Statistical software packages such as Minitab, SAS, R, Python
  • Technical writing skills
  • Familiarity with machine learning and Bayesian methods
  • ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
