Overview

As a Senior Specialist in Employee Relations at Ford Motor Company's BlueOval Battery Park Michigan, you will play a pivotal role in launching a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Your focus will be on providing HR support, enhancing employee relations, and driving strategic alignment within the organization during a historic transformation in the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide HR support and guidance for business strategy planning and implementation
  • Assist in aligning HR processes to create a competitive Battery Manufacturing framework
  • Support employee relations initiatives and engagement surveys
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to further company and employee relations goals
  • Advise on complex employee matters from inception to resolution
  • Support Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development, and HR IT initiatives
  • Utilize data and metrics to identify employee trends and inform improvements
  • Scan external environment for regulations and best practices

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in HR processes including compensation planning and employee relations
  • Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources across functions
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing HR setting is a plus
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline is a plus
