Overview

Raytheon is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Test Solutions to join their team in Tucson, Arizona. This role focuses on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software for weapon system product development, requiring strong collaboration within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C#, C++, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation.
  • Participate in multidiscipline engineering team projects.
  • Develop and derive requirements for software products.
  • Handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with C, C#, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Familiarity with computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of software drivers for computer hardware interfaces.
  • Understanding of data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422.
  • Experience with laboratory test instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
  • Experience with software development lifecycles like Waterfall and Agile.
  • Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Server or GitHub.
  • Good communication skills.
