Overview

Midland States Bank is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer focused on Financial Services Cloud solutions. This role involves designing, integrating, and maintaining Salesforce-based systems to enhance business objectives while ensuring compliance and security.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and architect Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend technical solutions to enhance functionality.
  • Manage Salesforce system administration including custom objects and validation rules.
  • Implement automation workflows and rules to streamline operations.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead Salesforce integrations and maintain implementations.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior team members.
  • Stay current on Salesforce updates and industry best practices.
  • Present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years Salesforce experience, including 3+ years with Financial Services Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce Industries OmniStudio and deployments in banking environments.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce administration, JavaScript, Apex, and Lightning Design System.
  • Experience with analysis/reporting tools like Salesforce, SAS BI, or Tableau.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of API, REST, database architecture, and ITIL methodologies.
