Overview

The Senior Salesforce Engineer for Financial Services Cloud at Midland States Bank is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Salesforce-based solutions tailored to financial services. This role emphasizes creating scalable, secure, and compliant systems aligned with business goals while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and architect Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend technical solutions including AppExchange products
  • Manage Salesforce system administration tasks such as custom objects and validation rules
  • Implement automation processes to streamline operations
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards
  • Design and execute test plans for solution validation
  • Lead Salesforce integrations ensuring consistency across systems
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior team members
  • Support automations for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Stay current on Salesforce updates and industry best practices
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of Salesforce experience
  • 3+ years with Financial Services Cloud or related implementations
  • Experience with Salesforce Industries OmniStudio
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing methodologies
  • Proficiency in Salesforce tech stack (administration, JavaScript, Apex)
  • Experience with analysis/reporting tools like Tableau
  • Salesforce certifications preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic understanding of API and REST
  • Experience with ITIL or SDLC methodologies
