Overview

The Senior Salesforce Developer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago will leverage over five years of experience to deliver high-performance Salesforce solutions, focusing on both Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud. This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making, supporting the bank’s mission to serve financial institutions and their communities.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver scalable, secure Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components.
  • Integrate Salesforce with ERP systems and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Manage data integrity, authentication, and access controls in regulated environments.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure software meets business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment processes.
  • Document and communicate technical solutions effectively.
  • Design and implement complex business logic through Salesforce Flow and code.
  • Oversee operational management by resolving system issues and maintaining standards.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and HTML.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud administration.
  • Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of middleware integrations and ETL processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum framework and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with object-oriented design patterns and Salesforce security controls.
  • Capability in managing sandbox environments and applying testing methodologies.
