Overview

As a Senior Research Scientist for Vision-Language-Action (VLA) Models at Bosch, you will engage in cutting-edge research in the automated driving and advanced driver assistance systems sectors. The position involves contributions to AI and machine learning projects that enable embodied AI across various domains, focusing on innovative solutions and seamless technology integration in Bosch's products.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct research and engineering in core AI and machine learning fields for embodied AI.
  • Push boundaries in end-to-end perception and planning for ADAS/AD.
  • Collaborate with global research and engineering teams for technology transfer.
  • Implement research results to solve real-world challenges.
  • Engage with academic and industry communities through conferences and events.
  • Document and disseminate research findings through publications and patent submissions.

Required skills

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or related discipline or Master's degree with 2-4 years of industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in AI technologies including Computer Vision and Robotic/Automotive Motion and Behavio
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, Rust.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Hands-on experience in reinforcement learning and common RL techniques.
  • Strong portfolio of publications in relevant journals and conferences.
  • Experience with real-world product development and autonomous systems.
  • Hands-on experience with multimodal transformer-based models and computer vision.
