Job Description

Overview

The Senior Reliability Engineer will manage and enhance the Predictive Maintenance and Reliability programs at an industrial manufacturing facility in Kentucky. This role involves using various testing technologies to identify maintenance issues and develop strategic plans for equipment optimization.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and improve plant's Predictive Maintenance and Reliability programs
  • Utilize testing technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared, and oil analysis
  • Implement Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering staff to identify solutions
  • Develop repair plans, standards, and schedules
  • Coach and mentor engineers and maintenance staff
  • Prepare technical reports on schedules, project progress, and risk analysis

Required skills

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Reliability role in manufacturing
  • Proficiency in FMEA, PPM optimization, and RCFA processes
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
  • Experience with SAP and other reliability engineering tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups
  • Meticulous and organized approach to reporting
